Michael and I are loving summer! My summer looks like
this: read, watch TV, swim...repeat :) Michael has been working for
Triumph Sports, which puts on Christian Sports camps for kids all over Dallas.
He loves it! He even told me the other day he would do it for free!
Michael's love for kids is just one of the many endearing things I love about
my husband!! Our summer has also been filled with weddings. We
"officially" kicked off summer traveling back home to Iowa to
celebrate my brother's wedding! The day was overflowing with joy and
love! The best part, I got a new sister-in-law :)
The beginning of June kicked off with another wedding of my dear
friend Cathy and her husband Matt! Michael wasn't able to come, but I was
blessed to spend time with dear friends and my parents. Michael was able to
come later in the week to meet my parents and I in Oklahoma to spend some days
camping and celebrate my dad's birthday.
Not long after, we traveled back up to the Midwest with our
friends Katlyn and her husband Gustavo to celebrate the wedding of our dear
friends, Julia and Micah : ) Not only was it incredibly special to
celebrate Micah and Julia's wedding, but it was the first time all 5 of us best
friends from college had been together with our spouses and family! Julia
was glowing and absolutely beautiful! The day was also special as my
parents and dear friends from camp were able to come as well! I am truly
thankful for the amazing friends and family God has put in my life!!
