Christmas 2015: Part Two

This Christmas it was our year to head up to Iowa and spend Christmas with my family. It was extra special because we got to meet our nephew for the first time :) As an added bonus, Mike got to stay for an entire week before heading back to work. Colds were kinda the theme of our time, but we made the best of all the sickness by trying to keep the germs contained...this, however, is a very difficult task with 2 toddlers and a baby. It didn't stop the kids from having fun. Katie and Adrianna absolutely loved playing together and chasing each other around the house. I am so thankful for the built-in playmates these kids will share for their whole life :)

Katie was so excited to see Mimi and Papa!

Although we were expecting just a light dusting of snow for Christmas Eve, it turned out to be 10 inches. We had the best time playing outside. Katie was not a fan of the snow last year, but loved it this year.

"We are doing what??"

As our family grows, so does the time is takes us to celebrate, open presents, and take family pictures. And I wouldn't have it any other way. I love this group of people :)

Since the weather was just a little cold, we tried to plan some fun indoor activities for the girls while we were in town. We ventured to the Omaha Children's Museum and an indoor waterpark, as well as making time for lots of play dates and snuggles :)

"Daddy, why are you holding another baby?" she wonders.
"I think you need to be holding me!" Love, Katie

Thank you Lord for this family I get to call my own!
