Nolan David: 8 Months

Month 8 was here before we knew it! Nolan, you have filled each month with so much love and joy, and month 8 was no exception. You got bigger with each passing week, and your chunky thighs are adored by all!!

We packed October full of fun fall activities and enjoyed plenty of time outside as the weather was absolutely beautiful. We took you to your first Harvest Festival, and Katherine picked out pumpkins for both of you. We took lots of walks and enjoyed many afternoons in the backyard swinging.

You crawled all over the house and always seem to have a ball in your hand. You also put everything in you mouth, but you did cut 4 teeth this month...and it explained the runny nose in almost every picture. You got to sit in the big boy seat in a grocery cart, and you really enjoyed the promotion :)

We got a couple of days this month with you all to ourselves. Your sister went to Mimi and Papi's house for a couple of days, so we had some precious time with you. I forgot how much I could get accomplished with just one baby and finished decorating your room. We also noticed that you are  really loud when you crawl, and it was awfully cute!!

This month also held Ohio State football games, campus sporting events, and trick-or-treating. We dressed you up as the cutest little pumpkin. We took lots of pictures so we can put them in your senior video one day :) The hat made the costume!! And your sister got in plenty of hugs this month!

Nolan, you are pure joy and happiness!!

-I want to remember the way you rest your head on my shoulder as I rock you to sleep.
