I've realized that I have lots of favorite moments/things from my weeks, and I don't document them anywhere. So I am going to try to start something new on the bloggy-blog to document my favorite things from the week! Here we go :)
My favorite moment of the week was watching my sweet little girl "read" her bible! I literally teared up when I saw her. She loves her little bible, and I pray she always has a love for God's word. She usually brings her egg shakers as well so she is always ready for an impromptu worship session :) I am thankful for these precious moments at the beginning of our week, because we are ending the week with a double ear infection and swollen gums from her molars. Needless to say, we haven't had many smiles or giggles in the last couple of days!
Michael and I have been listening to the new Owl City album on repeat since he got it for his birthday! We are big fans, and this album doesn't disappoint. I have three favorites on the album and included links below. "My Everything" basically lays out how important his faith is to him. "Unbelievable" is for anyone who grew up in the 90s. Please just listen to the lyrics on track 5...priceless! I mean, we are talking references to pogs, Save By The Bell, Fresh Prince, VHS, Lion King, Spaghetti O's, and so much more. Oh, I did I mention he teams up with Hanson to sing the song?? "Back Home" teams up with Jack Owen for a little Owl City meets country, and I love every second of the song!!

Track 5: "Unbelievable"
Track 7: "Back Home"
I guess this week has a lot to do with music! Carrie Underwood just released a new single off her upcoming album, Storyteller, "What I Never Knew I Always Wanted". Music always gets me all emotional, and this song is no different!
My husband brought Panera home from the office this week, and I was finally taken out of my Panera bubble. My go to is the broccoli cheese soup with caesar salad. Thanks to my husband, I have a new favorite called the Napa Almond Chicken Salad Sandwich. It is so tasty!
This one is a given if you love and adore Gilmore Girls!!! Confession...I do own all 7 seasons, and I have watched each season multiple times! A revival of Gilmore Girls is coming to Netflix, and I can't even contain the excitement!!
Thanks for stopping by! Have a great weekend!!
I love the "Friday Five" (I used to attempt to do it weekly, when I blogged in the late 90s and 2000s). It's such a great record and is always fun to revisit. :)
ReplyDeletePoor Katherine! I hope she is feeling better and that the pain from her ears and teething abates. No fun! Those two photos of her with the Bible are adorable!
Sending love!
